Birds Available For Adoption

BBB009 - Basil - African Grey
Hello, I'm Basil and I'm a charming 23 year old African Grey who's ready to bring some sassy fun into your life!
I'm quite the cheeky character who absolutely adores spending time outside the cage, soaking up all the love and attention I can get. If you're someone who enjoys a good scritching session then I'm your guy! Now, I do have a preference for male humans, but don't worry - I love to sing and dance with everyone! But when its time for down time, I like to relax with my chosen male best friend.
I've transitioned to a delicious diet of pellets, Busy Beaks Box goodies, and fresh, yummy chop.
While I do have a few quirks - Like some muscle atrophy that limits my flight, and onset arthritis, these can be managed with a nutritious diet and medication - I'm still full of personality and ready to strut my stuff. So, if you are looking for a companion who's as entertaining as I am loveable, look no further!
Because of my monthly injections my adoption fee is set at £100.
I am fully disease tested, hold an Article 10 certificate and I am now ready for adoption.
My current location is Dorset
Could you be my forever home?

BBB056 - Murphy - Blue Fronted Amazon
Hello, I'm Murphy and I'm a male Blue Fronted Amazon.
Since being in my safehouse, I've come on a lot and have started to trust my safehouse mum. I always greet her every morning with a huge hello and I'm always happy to see her.
I can be a little feisty until I learn that I'm safe so I will need an experienced owner who's willing to take their time with me and gain my trust. I'm not good around dogs.
I now sit with my safehouse mummy and will gently play with her fingers and I love head scritches from her.
I have started eating a small amount of chop but I love pellets and treats. My favourite are walnuts, Brazil nuts and sunflower seeds. I love having a shower.
The more you gain my trust, the more you see the real me. They say with work and time, I will make a great companion.
I am fully disease tested, vet checked, microchipped and now looking for my new family. My adoption fee is set at £450.00 and my current location is Tamworth.

BBB059 - Sully - Senegal
Hello, I'm Sully. I'm a 22 year old male Senegal parrot.
I am a very confident bird, my personality has really come out of its shell in my safehouse.
I love all men, women and children!
I'm not yet talking but I chirp away and love being out of my cage.
I love to eat pellets and also enjoy fruit and veggies. I also like a spray bath.
I'm currently learning how to step up more confidently, I will get there ;)
I'm a very affectionate boy and I love other birds.
My safehouse mummy says I'd be a great bird for any busy household, nothing fazes me.
Could you be the family for me?
I am fully disease tested, vet checked, microchipped and now looking for my new family. My adoption fee is set at £200.00 and my current location is Stoke on Trent.

BBB0073 - Rio - Green Cheek Conure
Hello, my name's Rio.
I'm a cheeky chap who loves attention and training.
Im particularly good at giving angles for the camera as long as I get a treat afterwards (sunflower seeds to be precise) I enjoy being out of my cage exploring, and will go back into my cage when you want me to, show me you've put treats in my bowl and I'm there.
I will need some time and patience to get used to my new family but I have potential to make a wonderful companion.
I am ready for my new family and my fee is £200.
Pending disease test results and microchip.

BBB0074 - Olive - Quaker
Hello, my name's Olive.
I'm a very sweet yet timid 3 year old girl, who is more than happy to interact with you at my own pace, this may take a while but once I'm settled and happy,
I will give you all the sass and playful energy there is. I enjoy a routine and going to bed at a certain time (don't worry, I will tell you when I'm ready by chirping)
I'm very quick at flying and will step up on a stick to go back to my cage, with more time and training I expect to step up nicely for my new hooman family.
I might even show you some noises, I can mimic too.
I have been fully disease tested and will be ready for my new home pending vet check & microchip.
My adoption fee is set at £200.

Birds Currently Under Assessment
What does under assessment mean?
When birds arrive into rescue we ensure that they are seen by our qualified vet, are fully disease tested, microchipped, have been successfully transitioned onto a healthy diet, have the necessary permits such as CITES where required/possible and receive the needed training to ensure they are ready for their new home
This process takes time and is completely different for each bird.
If you notice a bird has been under assessment for some time this is because we feel the bird is not yet ready for rehome.
Please check back regularly and ensure you have passed your home check in advance of your desired bird becoming available.
